1. No, I think they decided to make it automatic as this is a new installment into the game when playing that position.
2. I can't answer the question completely because i don't think button throwing has a meter either for Catcher. Although with analog throwing, the meter is actually under your player in regular games so this maybe the case also in RTTS.
3. Pretty much, although i think i read or saw something about a first person view.....unsure about this though so dont hold me to it.
4. I haven't tried this with analog throwing, actually haven't played much catcher in RTTS lol. I know with button throwing in regular games that you can snap throw to other bases behind the runners.
5. Power and Contact Hitting still exist for Pure Analog hitting. Its the same buttons as with Timing or Zone hitting, square for power (controller should vibrate if you have the option on), x for normal (controller wont vibrate unless its not the selected swing version), circle for contact (controller should vibrate if you have the option on). I hardly ever use power swing as i'm usually not ahead in the count lol. but after selected your swing type, you still have to use the analog stick to swing. square wont swing the bat but instead select the swing type to be used.
