An ACTUAL great deal on PS4s

Not that Best Buy nonsense with the financing. I mean an actual gigantic savings.

So apparently Meijer does a credit card promotional thing once a month, for a week at the time, where if you sign up for their credit card, you get 35% off your entire purchase, and that does NOT exclude big ticket items, like a PS4.

So I took advantage of this a couple days ago, here is what I got....

PS4
Extra controller
$100 Playstation gift cards (yes, the discount works on gift cards)
.....

For a total of $407 after taxes! So I was basically able to get the extra controller and $100 for cheaper than if I were to have just gotten the PS4 without the deal! What a gigantic steal. The promotion ended on Saturday, but like I said, apparently they do this every month, so I would call every Monday in May and ask them if they are running the promotion that week. I saved $200!

They say if you don't have the money in cash, you shouldn't buy it. Ps4 is not worth opening a credit card in my opinion, I'd rather just have the $ no contingency plans.

How do you know he doesn't have the cash to pay for it and is just going to pay it all off when the bill comes? For the deal to work, you have to use the credit card on the purchase.

I love Meijer's deals. I got my launch Xbone for $400 because every once in a while, they have save $20 on a $100 purchase coupons. I bought 5 $100 Amazon cards for a total of $400.

Yeah, I was waiting on a bundle for either The Show or MAYBE Watchdogs if I could hold out on getting the PS4 version of The Show that long (I got the ps3 version), but then once I saw this 35% off deal, I knew this would save me WAY more than a bundle.

anyone have an amazon credit card? I was thinking of using that to get a PS4 + Show 14. I have the money to get it, but I've never had a credit card before. I dunno anything about rewards or hidden fees etc. that's why im usually sketched about getting a credit card. I survive mostly off debit and cash.
