Help -- How to play w/ Shaq

Any tips from anyone out there on how to play with one of the most dominant big man??? (Magic version)

My buddy and I did a fantasy draft w/ legends, and I have Shaq on my team (98 ovr) and can't get anything to go with him.

I try to do his patented drop step, pump fake, and 2 hand slam, and I keep missing layups under the basket, getting bodied up by the likes of Tyler Zeller. He seems to miss most of his hook shots within 5 feet of the rim too.

I score maybe 10 points with him, off of put backs and pick and roll dunks, which was not really his game. I want him to be the focal point of my offense, but I keep going back to James Harden and Scottie Pippen, as I can never get Shaq going.

Any tips???

Most of my post-up success with big men comes from:
1) backing down the defender
2) pump-faking to the middle of the lane
3) pressing the left thumbstick towards the basket while pressing the shoot button

Usually the defender ends up out of position from the pump fake, and if not, the lean-in is good for drawing fouls. I'm always ready to hit the jump/rebound button just in case I miss the shot to increase my chances for a put-back.

^This style works well for me with DeMarcus Cousins, but I've never used Shaq. Hopefully it helps.

2. Wait for double team.
3. Pass to shooter

2. Back shaq up down.
3. Hold turbo(aggression modifier) and hold right stick toward basket.
4. Shoot free throws.

Nah but seriously I can dominate with shaq in a ton of different ways. A few actual tips?

Shaq has every post move in his arsenal but 1. So do not shoot turnaround jumpers.

Shaq has should have 5+ more FGA than anyone else.

Give the man he ball. The best way to not dominate is by not shooting.

I shoot a better percentage with Harden and Pippen. He missed gimmes at the rim and he never dunks. It's mind boggling. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. He plays soft with no physicality.

Shaq is my go-to guy and Luv playing him with the Lakers. Do all the up & under post moves with turnaround pump fakes. Spin to the middle for hook shots or quick spin to the baseline for 2-hand slam.

Use him for screens to free the 3-pt shooters. And best of all, he's amazing shot blocker and rebounder!

back down as far as you can get and utilize pump fakes. other than that enjoy the d and rebounds

Because 2k wants everyone to play SG. 2k doesn't make post moves intuitive or very effective.
