I haven't been playing this mode this long so I haven't had to pull all the different versions of guys and I'm just wondering your thoughts on whats the best of the classics that have multiple forms


'90-'91 Jordan or '95-'96?

'86-'87 Magic or '90-'91?

'93-'94 Mutombo or '00-'01?

'94-'95 Shaq or '97-'98?

'76-'77 Julius or '84-'85?

What Jerry West?

What Scotty Pippin?

What Dennis Rodman?

'90-'91 Jordan is the prime version but '95-'96 has better shooting, depends on you.

'86-'87 Magic is faster and more athletic and '90-'91 is better shooter

'93-'94 Mutombo is way better

Magic Shaq is better because of his stamina and dunk are better, Lakers Shaq only has better awareness that is useless IMO.

Again '76-'77 Julius is more athletic and '84-'85 is better shooter.

Young Jerry West is best, I believe is '64 - '65.

Most will be the younger version of themselves but with Pippen and the Worm, these dudes got better with age.

Why don't you just test them out yourself? All are available in quick games, use the historic teams. Some people play differently, anyone that dunks and uses Run and Gun is going to like 90-91 Jordan over 95-96 Jordan but some people prefer the later. Also, check their ratings...All 3 Jerry West's have different ratings.

I think you'll find to like some versions of a certain player more than other versions, part of the fun is testing them out and getting one version but really wanting the other.

91 Jordan is better than 96, but I think 89 is the most fun to use due to his speed and passing.

87 Magic is better than 91 because of his defense, mobility, and finishing

93 Mutombo is 1000 times better than the other one. He is arguably the best interior defenders in the game.

Young Pippens are more useful if you want a defensive stopper, but if you just want to jack up 3's the 96 version is the one to have

Magic Shaq is undoubtably the better Shag. Just check the stats, the Lakers one isn't better at anything that matters.

The 2 Bulls Rodmans seem somewhat interchangeable, but the older one is 18 lbs heavier and actually and inch taller for some reason

87 Worthy is better than the 91 one as long as you accept that he is meant to be a PF in this game and don't shoot 3's

Afro Dr. J is better at literally everything, and is not a worse shooter. The stats lie, the shooting difference isn't noticeable. And did I mention the younger one has an Fro?

The youngest West is the best, and the middle one is 2 inches shorter lol

The 71 Wilt is better than the 72 one. Seems to be a better finisher, slightly better free throw shooter, and doesn't foul as much

The 90-91 Jordan is unstoppable for me he is a beat and i tried the 95-96 jordan but he didnt play for me as well imo
