When I cross the half court line with the shot clock off

And I'm going to lose for sure, and you steal or foul me instead of letting the time go:

I'm using all my timeouts, and all my pause time.

Just let the clock run out.

Dude, you're wasting your time too, you really showed him! You know what he is doing in that 5 minutes of time you just wasted? Probably on his phone, watching tv, or on the computer, not just staring at the screen.

That's fine. I'm not in a huge rush.

More of a principal thing than anything.

I agree if your opponent can't show some class in winning you shouldn't neither in a loss. If everyone does this then he will think twice about doing that in a future game. We should all adopt this behavior to those players who don't stop trying to steal on every play especially the last few seconds.

I mean. My thing is: I cross half court. And I stay by the line to dribble it out. Make no effort of even walking to the 3pt line, so my intentions are clear.

I was up 10 or so with 45 seconds left. Hit another bucket and the guy basically just conceded and tossed up a half court shot. So we traded those back and forth until the clock ran out. I guess I could have took the ball in transition and just ooped it on him, but why? The game was over. We both knew it.

I know its not OS that does it, but I don't get why people constantlt feel the need to be Dbags and rub it in when they win( but don't say nothin when they lose)

Great discussion fellas, i wanna piggy back and what some of your are saying. I'm sure we are all good or great players but we all lose from time to time. Personally i like to run down the clock with a minute left if im up by 11+ or -11 i think it shows sportsmanship not running up the score people who use garbage time to inflate their scores are just doing it for a twitter pic
