Salary Cap
I'm a bit confused with something in the offline Be a GM mode. When you enter the "summer" free agency phase (end of June-end of August), how does this game calculate a team's salary cap?
For example, in the current Be a GM I am playing (in the first off-season), I have 48 players under contract and my total salary for these players is in the range of $75M. However under projected spent I am at approximately $65M leaving me about $2M in cap space.
I have read some things on this board and others and still have not figured this totally out, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
