What Are The Best PC Sports Games?

I love Basketball and I'm interested in playing a simulation Basketball (NBA)game.The problem is to have enough time and money to pick the best games.
I would like to get opinions on what other people feel are the best games on the market.
I'm trying to get as much quality information on sports games as I can before I make any purchases.I hope this will help other people too.
Action PC, Strat O Matic and GDS "Fast Break" all make games but I've never tried them.

Fast Break Pro Basketball 3 gets my vote.

For single season replays, i highly recommend stratomatic. Very fun and you really get the feeling that you are watching a game unfold. It is very well done and could be the best game they make.

Choadler your posts are exactly what I was looking for.Somebody who actually has played these games and gives a good objective review.If enough of us share our experiences this can help us and others make more informed decisions.
Yes there's sites like CNET ect and they're great but there's nothing like a bunch of enthusiastic sports fans sharing their knowledge on the sports games they play.How better to leverage time and money.
