New York State Of Mind | New York Giants | Xbox One Madden 25 Dynasty

THERE IS A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN

The Mara family and Tisch family have agreed to terms with a financial group, led by Francis Hugh, for the purchase of the New York Giants. Terms have not been officially released, but it should be in the ball park of approximately 1.5 billion dollars. The Mara family and the Tisch family, who bought them in 1925 and 1991 for $500 and $150 mil, respectively, will bring in a huge profit from the transaction.

As for what we could expect to see in the future, when you think of Francis Hugh, you think of a Jerry Jones type of owner. One that will do everything that is needed for the team to succeed and will be a part of every decision made within the organization.

Francis Hugh is an American businessman and investor. He will be the owner, president, and general manager of the NFL's New York Giants.

#Giants new owner Francis Hugh has been making a lot of inside moves during his first week in office. Expect the unexpected. From sources within the organization, don't be surprised to see Quarterback Eli Manning on the move within the next few hours.

ELI MANNING HEADED TO OAKLAND

Multiples sources have now confirmed, Quarterback Eli Manning will now be an Oakland Raider. Eli Manning, who joined the New York Giants in 2004, won two Superbowl championships during his ten year span with the organization.

To Oakland
QB Eli Manning, 32 years old, 91 Overall
DE Justin Tuck, 30 years old, 87 Overall
RG Chris Snee, 31 years old, 90 Overall

To New York
QB Terrelle Pryor, 24 years old, 70 Overall
2014 1st Round Pick (Projected 4th Overall)

Sources within the Giants organization have stated that new owner, Francis Hugh, is on a mission to completely revamp the organization from top to bottom. Expect one or two more trades before the day is over. Hugh is going to clear house.

When first looking at the schedule, you will notice that the Giants face a lot of stiff competition in the 2013 schedule. With the Giants seemingly being in a random rebuilding mode, it would be very difficult to predict how they will do, but we might as well try.

Week 1: At Dallas Cowboys - With a star studded lineup and the game being played in Dallas, I do not see how the Giants will be able to overcome the odds in this one. The Cowboys are a much stronger team and will be in play for the division title this season.

Prediction: Dallas Cowboys 35 - New York Giants 14

Week 2: Vs. Denver Broncos - Again, another star studded lineup. This was originally going to be another "Manning Bowl", but only one Manning will be in this game. The Broncos are talented enough to make it to the Super Bowl this season, but the Giants are going toward the other direction.

Prediction: Denver Broncos 48 - New York Giants 24

Week 3: At Carolina Panthers - Another playoff caliber team! Cam Newton, who has progressed well in the past, comes into this season with something to prove. If he is able to put things together this season without turning the ball over too much, this team will be a force to be reckoned with.

Prediction: Carolina Panthers 21 - New York Giants 17
Week 4: At Kansas City Chiefs - Last season, they were the worst team in the league. In the offseason, after multiple changes in the front office/coaching staff, this team can only get better. Will they become a playoff team? I don't think so. But, I do think they will become a .500 squad.

Prediction: New York Giants 31 - Kansas City Chiefs 10

Week 5: Vs. Philadelphia Eagles - Chip Kelly comes to the NFL. Will his offensive strategy translate well in the NFL or will it fall apart early and often? I don't see how a speed offense would translate well, do to everyone at this level being quick.

Prediction: New York Giants 17 - Philadelphia Eagles 14

Week 6: At Chicago Bears - With a horrible offensive line showing last season, will they be able to protect Cutler from the ferocious pass rush of the Giants? I don't see it, but it's possible.

Prediction: New York Giants 24 - Chicago Bears 13

Week 8: Vs. Minnesota Vikings - Adrian Peterson is the best player in the NFL hands down. He can take over a game at any point. Only question would be if the Vikings defense can hold up.

Prediction: Minnesota Vikings 48 - New York Giants 41

Week 9: At Philadelphia Eagles - Once again, the rival Eagles and Giants face off. Chip Kelly's system might have chemistry problems early on, but I think they will pick things up at the right time.

Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles 52 - New York Giants 24

Week 10: Vs. Oakland Raiders - Eli Manning comes back to town. Depending on how well Eli will get acquainted to the new offense in Oakland, this could become a trap match. The Giants should know every flaw of Eli's game by now.

Prediction: New York Giants 35 - Oakland Raiders 17

Week 11: Vs. Green Bay Packers - Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers. The Giants will not be able to stop Aaron Rodgers and he will lead the Packers to an easy victory.

Prediction: Green Bay Packers 45 - New York Giants 31

Week 12: Vs. Dallas Cowboys - Though the Cowboys have an obvious advantage in talent, the Giants should be able to steal 1/2 of the match ups they have during the regular season.

Prediction: New York Giants 23 - Dallas Cowboys 21

Week 13: At Washington Redskins - If Robert Griffin III can come back to form, he will be dangerous. The Giants will try to pressure him as much as possible to make him uncomfortable. The only question would be whether or not RG3 will be quick enough to avoid them.

Prediction: New York Giants 31 - Washington Redskins 3

Week 14: At San Diego Chargers - The Chargers are a team that is in desperate need of a rebuilding mode. They seem to be on the cusp of breaking out every season, but always end up around .500. Something needs to change.

Prediction: New York Giants 38 - San Diego Chargers 16

Week 15: Vs. Seattle Seahawks - While the Seahawks are an up and coming team in the NFL, they are much different when they are away from home. Without the 12th man, who knows how this young squad will face adversity in New York.

Prediction: New York Giants 14 - Seattle Seahawks 13

Week 16: At Detroit Lions - Calvin Johnson should be able to manhandle the Giants secondary without a problem. The only problem would be the rest of the team. I see Reggie Bush breaking out this game and having a tremendous effect on the outcome.

Prediction: Detroit Lions 42 - New York Giants 23

Week 17: Vs. Washington Redskins - If RG3 survived the first matchup without a scratch, this should be a battle for 3rd place in the division. RG3 should get many scratches, bruises, and even deep cuts in the first matchup, so the Giants should be able to take this one easily.

Prediction: New York Giants 55 - Washington Redskins 27

Projected Regular Season Record: 9-7

With a 9-7 record, there is a chance of making the playoffs as a wildcard, but it will not happen this season. The other teams in the NFC are much stronger and should have better records. New York Giant fans should expect to be watching other teams in the playoffs this post-season....again.

Chris Berman's Sitdown with New York Giants Owner Francis Hugh

Chris Berman: Much has come through the headlines over the past few days in regards to the new man in New York, owner Francis Hugh. He has already made his name known in such a short time and we have the pleasure of speaking with him.

Francis Hugh: I am delighted to be here as well.

Chris Berman: What was the reasoning behind you purchasing the New York Giants?

Francis Hugh: In business, I have learned about making great investments. Those investments have put me where I am today. So, to answer your question, quite honestly, this is an investment of sort. The difference between this investment and some other investments that I am currently a part of, would be my passion for football. I have always had the passion and competitiveness for football ever since I stepped off the field for the last time in my High School days.

Chris Berman: With the Giants being a franchise with a vast amount of traditions, what can you do to make sure that those traditions remain alive?

Francis Hugh: Well, I believe that traditions are what make these franchises what they have grown to become. If you eliminated the traditions from the franchises, they wouldn't have the same meaning behind them. In partnership with many Giant personnel, we will find ways to bring forth those traditions, rather than eliminating them.

Chris Berman: You traded Eli, Tuck, and Snee. What were your reasonings behind that and do you believe you can still compete without them?

Francis Hugh: Eli, Justin, and Chris were vital parts to the recent Super Bowl runs for the Giants. They were highly regarded within the organization. But, things had to be changed for the good of the franchise. The team, in my mind, seemed to be going into a downward spiral. To stop that from worsening, we decided that it would be in the best interest of the team if we were to get rid of large contracts, older players, and try to gain younger players to develop. All these things occurred in that one trade with the Raiders.

We were able to get a young, phenomenal athlete in Terrelle Pryor. In our minds, he will become as good or even better than Carolina's Cam Newton. We understand that he has not proven much during his stay in Oakland, but we believe that his talents will translate well with our offensive schemes.

Also, in addition to Terrelle, we were able to obtain a 2014 1st round pick. This pick, which we could only hope to be as high as possible, will provide us with another young and talented player.

Chris Berman: When do you believe that this team will become competitive with all these young players?

Francis Hugh: Of course, the only answer to that question is now. The roster that is in place will need some changes, but for the most part, they should be able to compete with anyone.

Chris Berman:When you say "some changes, does that mean that you have something in the works as we speak?

Francis Hugh: A Magician never reveals his tricks. But, I can say this...There will be many changes occurring to this roster before the regular season begins. For the better of the team, of course.

Chris Berman: Well Francis, I wish you the best of luck this season and in your tenure as the Giants owner. Thank you for giving us the time to interview you.

Francis Hugh: It was my pleasure. Thank you for having me.
