Headband Glitch workaround?

Is there anyway to fix the headband glitch - where if a player is signed or says they are retiring/testing free agency on NBA.com. That player (ie Melo and Lebron) lose their headbands and cannot be reequipped.

Is there any workaround for this. Seeing Carmelo and LeBron without their headband ruins the game for me. MyGM looks so promising too...

Don't let the picture load in the news section on the right of the screen when that happens. Simply press triangle/Y when you see the news about them.

Thanks! How else would I be able to see the player news though?

You can quickly read them I guess.That's what I do.
