Why can't you use all star teams?

On 2k14 for the xbox 360 in play now mode the All Star teams don't come up as an option when selecting a team... all there is is the current teams, classic teams and European teams... is there any way to play the All-Star game with the real-life rosters?

I feel ya bro, the only way right now is to play it in my career mode. Gone are the days when you got to play Allstar ball straight out of the box.

This would be the first matchup I would play when the game was new, now I have to wait for DLC or patch.

start an association or season with any team simulate up to all star week

Try changing the date on your PC to the date of the game. If on a console I have no idea how other than what was posted above; granted you won't get the current All-Star rosters.
