Re: 2017 Week 2

Kansas beat Central Michigan, 19-17 with last second field goal. My best player is my kicker and he had four field goals, including three over 50 yards.

Re: 2017 Week 2

What are some suggestions for not running up the score. I tried different things and still scored a few times.

I didn't pass in the he 2nd half.

I do try to score on knockoffs or punts. Had two returns in the 3rd qtr.

If I break a long run I head for the pylon( the computer knocked me in once when I was going out.

I put in the backups, but my 4th RB is almost as good as my starter.

the only thing I could have done as punt as soon as I get the ball which makes the game even more boring.

Anything else? I promise I am not running up the score on purpose and if you look at my player stats no one had a huge game .

Re: 2017 Week 2

North Texas nearly shutout Arkansas 19-7. They converted a 4th and 10, on a fake pass that they had all day to pass and the receiver ran back to catch the ball for huge gain to setup their only td. North Texas had to settle for 4 fgs, 2 of which were over 45. Have to do better on 3rd down, but was testing to see could work against a SEC team. But holding a Guz Malzhoun offense to 7 points after the Army ran over them the week before is big improvement.

Re: 2017 Week 2

maybe run chew clock?

Your team is leaps and bounds better than Kent State. Maybe next year, you'll get a more difficult schedule. How did you get flagged 8 times and the CPU 4 times?

I have a tendency to hit the QB late sometimes. Very frustrating when it is 3rd down and he throws an incomplete pass, then the penalty give up the first down.

Purdue RTA. Just lost to Mizzou 44-7. My senior QB committed 11 turnovers. 10 INT's and 1 lost fumble. No chance to win when that happens.

Re: 2017 Week 2

I think Purdue may have gotten the toughest schedule in the country for 2017. Any bowl game would be a major accomplishment for this team.
