How do I get My Player to dunk?

I've got his dunking ability to 74 and vertical ability to 80 and I haven't been able to slam dunk yet. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have any dunk packages equipped yet? If not you need to do that. Also, I've found it helps to use the stick towards the rim instead of the shoot button.
