Why is Clemson hated; seemingly the joke of CFB?

Im a clemson fan and it seems like no one has respect for us. id really like to know why from an outsiders view, because ive never seen a school get so much hate and disrespect as Clemson (even though we are very good to great right niw)

Yeah nobody hates Clemson. And they certainly aren't the only school that gets joked around about here. I will say that a big part of them "not getting any respect" is brought on by them Clemsoning. I'm not sure when the trend started, but losing the Orange Bowl 70-33, then a few games since then, including getting blown out by Florida State at home (Death Valley lol) as a Top 3 team.

it's not limited to this forum, but it is a joke. Almost every school gets ripped on and has their jokes.

Clemson has Auburn With A Lake, "death valley", and Clemsoning
