Hey all---

I have decided that it would be fun to run a dynasty in which YOU GUYS, the OS users, are primarily in control.

How will it work?
You, the OS users, will be in charge of creating new players to put on the eight CAP-8 teams. These teams will then play a 20 game season, with 6 non-conference and 14 conference games (thus, increasing the amount OS users will play eachother). At the end of the year, their will be a conference and state tournament (if you're lucky!)

How am I in control?
You get to create the players! You will start as a freshman at the JV level and work your way up to the Varsity level and attempt to shine. Your players get better through training... and YOU ARE IN CONTROL of what they train.

How do we control how our players train?
Each week, there will be three training days. On that day, you can say "John Doe trains his ball-handling", and I will increase his ball handling skill. During the season you will see improvement, but the offseason is when you really get to shine.

How's the offseason work?
It will be a week long off-season to allow new freshman to join and allow players to get work in the gym. Real work is put in during the off season. You will have 1000 points to spend on your player's skills, distributing them however you like.

Description
Cumberland High School is always around the top of the conference, and last year, led by graduated All-American Javale Roberts, was their best year in school history. In order to make it to the starting lineup in this school, your freshman is going to have to work hard. The depth this year is phenomenal, but a slight dropoff after this year's junior class goes is very possible. Can Cumberland repeat as conference champs, and make an impact at the state level once again?

Description:
South LA was known as an "average" team most years in the CAP8, but last year, loaded with seniors and upperclassmen, made a run at a CAP8 championship. This year, many people are predicting a drop to mediocrity because of the loss of 8 seniors and a number of new guys on the team. Winston Ramirez, the team's leading scorer last year, will be heavily relied on this season to bring the Warriors success.

Description:
Santa Monica is one of the most fun team in the entire conference to watch, simply because their offensive gameplan is simple; nail the three. When hot, Santa Monica is nearly unstoppable, as seen with their 83-76 shocking win against Cumberland High last year. When the shooter are cold however, bad things can happen for Santa Monica. How will they fare this season, after losing 5 seniors (3 guards)?

Long Beach has had their fair share of success, sharing a conference championship three years ago. Right now, Long Beach just lacks star power. They have a quality team, but no one to go toe to toe with Cumberland and South LA's stars. Long Beach is hoping for a powerful freshman class to bring them back to their past glory.

Whittier High School has historically been one of the best in the conference, but, a young team last year led to a poor season by their standards. Joseph Saw is 4-time conference coach of the year, so you know he will be able to get a good team out on the court. Will they return to their old powerhouse status, or is average the new Whittier?

Winston Prep is the newest team in the conference, and struggled in their inaugural season. The reason for their struggle was clear; in their school's first two years, only 9th and 10th graders were admitted. This year, Winston Prep has opened their school up to 11th and 12th graders, finally becoming a full high school. Will the experience of these youngsters give them success in years to come?
