Has anyone ever seen this message or know the solution to fixing it? I started a new Connected Franchise on XBone and invited my cousin and two buddies. The two buddies joined fine but my cousin got that message when he tried to join.

His gold membership is perfectly fine. Not expired or any credit card issues. He plays Madden and CoD (typical dude bro) constantly and never has an issue.

I tried Googling myself and found a ton of people posting about it, going back as far as August of this year. But of course I couldn't find any actual solutions.

Have him call up Microsoft. Don't use the chat feature, because those reps don't know anything.

He's going to do that but several of the posts I saw regarding this issue people said that they tried contacting MS and EA and both blamed the other and they could never get an answer.

This happened to me while already in a franchise on ps4. I think they were doing updates and messed me up, but I was able to log on the next day without calling anyone.

Have him look at his Privacy Settings, just set them to Adult. If they're too strict they can cause issues with certain features within games. This would be my guess as I believe I had a similar issue with NCAA 14.

He did check then and everything is taken off.
