Week 17: Kansas City Chiefs JV Team (11-4) at San Diego (8-7)

Smith, Charles, Bowe among the inactive for the Chiefs in a game that could end up being the most watched game in the history of the city of Pittsburgh not involving the Steelers...

If Norv was still coaching the Chargers I'd have more confidence in a Chiefs win but I don't think it happens.

I would think the Chiefs would want to play their starters and beat a good division opponent gaining some confidence going into the playoffs. They lose this one big and get crushed next week. It's tough being a Chiefs fan.

I hadn't even considered that but I was listening to a sports talk show this morning and the commentator (who isn't a Pittsburgh native, nor is he a Steeler fan) was making the same argument.

The scope of the JV comment, quite the 'platoon swap' to take a term I hear in NBA2k14 all the time.:

Honestly, since they play next week, it is far less of an issue than if they had a bye. And getting extensive gameplay for backups in a game that is essentially a playoff game for their opponents is also beneficial if they ate needed due to injury going forward.

And look at this, they are moving the ball and forcing a turnover.

LMAO, maybe KC should have played the backups last time against San Diego.
