College Football 2K14

I was wondering if there have been any rumors regarding 2K trying to make a deal with the NCAA, now that the NCAA has broken ties with EA. Eventually, I believe we will see a college football game again, since there is nothing wrong with a game with licensed schools and stadiums, but purely fictional players. EA's mistake was making the unnamed players resemble the real life players of each school. If the players were proven to be completely random, there would be no lawsuit. The NCAA has understandably distanced itself from EA, and will probably lay low for a while before allowing any new video games, but eventually I'm hoping they give another company a shot at making a college football game. Nothing wrong with having editable rosters and online games with custom rosters. I'm pretty sure the NCAA Football series made money for both the NCAA and EA, so one should be worth making eventually.

Considering what just happened to EA,I doubt 2k is even trying to get involve.

college sports video games are dead for the foreseeable future. I would bet you any amount of money that there will be no NCAA games in the future.

Best bet for a new college football game is the conferences break away from the NCAA and form something new.

I'm gonna say what everyone else is saying, I think college sports video games are done until the NCAA disbands, which I think it will happen in the future. I mean, they just fined 4 SEC schools for allowing their fans to storm the field and the for violating the noise making rule (Mississippi State).

2k hasn't made a college football game since...what 2003? Plus right now I think it's way too risky. I also don't think it would sell that well since pro sports games are the hot sellers. (Which I never got into)
