What are the "Key Games"? re: MYCareer

We get the option to either play the next game, or skip ahead to the next "key" game, but are we told what the "key" games are?

I figure there should be some sort of * or star or something on the calendar, indicting a key game.

Makes sense, right?

Those are division rivals and key matchups for example you're a SG and you have to face another top guard like James Harden

Just starting my second MyCareer season, so I haven't looked yet, but in past 2ks, if you went to the calendar, they were highlighted. There was typically a "glowing" box around that game on the calendar.

If you're wondering what they are in the first season of MyCareer on Next Gen, then I've found that it's whenever your guy gives a speech at the beginning of the game.

They are not glowing this year.. And I don't know if the "Key-Game" feature is glitched, we had back to back against Miami, yet we skipped the first one that was at home, then I played the second one that was away, and I used the "Key-Game" feature.

I started playing my second season a few days ago. I haven't found any indication of being able to tell what your key games are. It seems like you can go much further in next gen without having a key game. I just simmed to my next key game and it skipped 13 straight games in January/February and brought me to All-Star Weekend.

After your rookie season, when you hit next game you get a key game option or next game.
