Pass Coverage Slider/CPU QB

Does the HUM pass coverage slider impact how long the CPU holds onto the football in the pocket? I heard the the pass coverage slider is reversed and there is better coverage when it's at 0. bBut when I increased it from 0 to like 55 the CPU held onto the ball more often and took sacks. Does anybody know how this slider works?

Yes and no.

Yes, a higher HUM pass coverage slider means the CPU holds onto the football longer.

BUT the reason is that WR's are getting open sooner (as far as the AI is concerned).

I've seen no evidence that there is better coverage with PCV at 0. The slider is not reversed for the User.

I thought Pass Coverage was reversed in Madden 25? Isn't that why Jarrod has it at zero for both HUM and CPU?

Re: Pass Coverage Slider/CPU QB

I have
PRT 0
INT 25
PCV 50

i get good coverage by good Db's .i played the falcons and julio jones (coldstreak) was shut out to 2 catches i think. and roddy white (hot streak) had 100 yrds receiving. (he was covered mostly by keenan lewis who was on cold streak)

So you think the opposite of what Jarrod does? That Pass Reaction is reversed as opposed to Pass Coverage?

I'm confused... heh

Re: Pass Coverage Slider/CPU QB

Pass Coverage: 0
Reaction time: 100

There many other sliders that play a part though. IG at 0, lets the CPU get rid of that ball before taking that sack. DPI at 1 causes the aggressive DB coverage. Reaction time effects after the ball is thrown, having it on 100 allows for defenders to react to what they see and go for swats/INTs. Check out my videos to see more examples of coverage with these settings.

Ok, so you're saying pass coverage is reversed. Meaning that 0 Pass Coverage is better. So by using 0 PCV and 100 PRT you're creating the best defense.

Which is what I thought...

Brees2Graham seems to think the opposite. B2G.... Care to elaborate why you use 50 PCV and 0 Reaction Time?
