Slider clarifaction, please

Someone clarify for the direction for sliders, please?

Like if I want to make the CPU weaker against me on other team which way do I go? Or if want to make it more effective against me? Which way do I go?

Same thing when I am on defense? Which way do I go to make CPU better against me and weaker against me?

I am getting confused. Some sliders show description which way to go. Others do not.

From what I have experienced, no slider in this game (next gen version) is reversed.

So to make CPU worse at something, lower it, to make it better, raise it.

In my experience this applies to all sliders on next gen version.

I have all CPU sliders at 60 and all user sliders between 5-10 except catching (35) and coverage/reaction (50). All madden difficulty, normal speed, I get a great challenge from the CPU in CCM mode. Stats look good at end of day too.
