I think you always get the 3rd highest rated player from the (last) classic team (if there is one).

McHale is the 2nd highest on his team. My guess is the 2nd/3rd if they have a classic team. Teams that don't have a classic team will probably give you a 25k MT reward, which isn't worth it at all.

I've only seen one guy with McHale and I asked him how he got him but he never responded. He had to do the collection...

You can add Charles Oakley from the Knicks to that list BTW..

I am currently about done with the Celtics and my brother is doing the Bulls. I am also close to completing the Heat one as well.

Well then the Lakers and Warriors are the 2 best because theirs would be Frobe and Tim Hardaway
