How to start a new My Career player entirely from scratch

Hi guys does anyone know how to wipe any trace of my old my player character in 2k14? I have tried wiping NBA 2k14 the game from my PS4 including deleting all the saved game data, but as soon as I go back into the game it redownloads the previously created guy and my VC points balance is the same old one.

Hit triangle when you're over the MyCareer option on the main menu and you can delete. You can't delete your MyPlayer, but you can delete the mycareer file, and then go into the "features" section, go to MyPlayer and rename and redo all the looks, and start up a new My Career. You can't get rid of VC because it's account wide, but if you don't wanna use it for your guys upgrades just waste it all on clothes and accessories for the career mode.
