Next-Gen NBA 2K14: Huge Disappointment

Besides gameplay (which is even debatable), don't you guys find 2K14 to be a complete mess? From the Pay-2-Play (paying for VC) to the horrible menus to the limited features, I am not enjoying this game one bit. The tipping point for me was the lack of create-a-player.

I find it odd that I haven't seen a thread or much posts about how disappointing this game is OVERALL so I want to know if I am alone. I am personally done with this series until I see a change, mainly the anti-consumer practices (see: micro-transactions) that many publishers are part-taking in now.

For me the tipping point is blue glasses for 91 Horace Grant. I saw it yesterday on youtube bulls 91 lakers 87.

Jordan looks like the created jordan of nba live 2008 or nba 2k7.
No new dunk, no new jumpshot, it are the worst of every 2k.
Kerr face is not good, scottt williams still has the same hairstyle lol. I have never seen him like that.
Kemp faces afraid me, worst that 2k11. And i could go on and on.

Nba 2k11 is 10000 x better that next gen.

Horrible visuals:

- No Kareem Abdul-Jabbah (Michael Thompson as a starter????????)
- James Worthy has no googles (he has always used it)
- AC Green`s hair could not look uglier, it has nothing to do with the guy in 1987
- Horace Grant`s googles are blue, not white!!!!
- Bull`s shoes have nothing to do with the models they used in 1991
- Jersey`s numbers are too small. They should be bigger

Shot clock ticking by the end of the 24 second shot derails from the experience because it sounds out of place.
I also don`t see any improvement in gameplay or commentary.
I`m glad I didn`t spend money on this game. I did not get into the hype, so I`m not one of the million people complaining right now.

It's the little things that count too. Even 2k has screwed up the little things that made them cool.

Your post isn't necessary. Especially since you didn't give examples.
