Error code CE-34878-0

I'm freaking out right now!!! 2k keeps crashing every time I try to load my career!! Error code ce-34878-0 I googled it and nobody has a fix for it please help a guy out! I'm about 40 games into my career almost at the all star break and 2k is the only thing I wanna play right now!

I heard some people just restarted but then even some if those people are still getting the error does this need to get patched or what's going on!?!

Read about the patch fixing this but it happened to me after the patch came out

I have had that one also. There's some seriously glitchy crap going on with this game. I started it up once and they game started to INSTALL itself again. It wouldn't let me play, just a single menu, exact same as the first time I played it except this is almost two weeks after. I panicked as I thought it would erase everything and actually just fresh booted my PS4 as the game installed. Came back and it worked fine and needed no installation. This game is bug city

Last patch was supposed to fix it. It didn't.
Next patch is supposed to fix it...

That's all we know.
About your career, the only real choice you have is to wait.
Restarting would lead to that error at one point anyway.

I'm starting to think we won't have our 2k dose this year. Neither we'll have our money back ...

Wow this is BS I only have this and COD... I've been loving 2k this year I hope they don't take weeks to fix this!

Source i had the same problem with mines 15 games in with the new one not one single problem.

same issue here BUT found somewhat of a solution…
-dwnld a roster, make ur trades/signings/gear edits etc BUT NOT ANY RATINGS CHANGES…
-start myGM, Career etc & shouldn't be a problem

i edited player ratings & got the same error, when i didn't edit the ratings, it worked fine
