One that's fair, I'm not looking to win every time but it seems like I have to be shooting out of my mind just to win a game.

Lower the CPU shot success sliders or raise the Defensive sliders. I personally would raise the defense sliders if you're having trouble. You have to just play good defense.

Remember, they are pro basketball players, if you leave them open, its going down.

My issue is there seems to be no way to play good defense because the CPU makes everything even with a hand in their face. I've never been more disgusted with a game.

Re: Anyone have a balanced slider set where the cpu doesn't hit every shot?

I play on Superstar and have all of my defensive sliders (for human and cpu) set to 75. I also have all of the foul sliders set to 75; everything else is on default.

I'm really enjoying this setting. I can make the CPU miss with good, solid defense, even against the very best players in the NBA. The way the CPU beats me is by finding the open man, which is what I expect. My beef is having the CPU score on me at will even when well defended; fortunately, that's eliminated now with my slider setting.

Try this shooting base for the CPU:

Inside Shot Success: 38
Close Shot Success: 38
Midrange: 44
3 Point: 44
Layup: 46
Dunk in Traffic Success: 42

It should skew CPU shot percentage for more misses for a balanced game.

I am playing with finding realistic settings myself on AllStar. The CPU hits shots at a high rate and my AI teamates do a poor job of closing out the wings and staying on their man off the ball.
