all this work from people all over the globe just simply points out something incredible. We, as a community are responsible for making a game enjoyable again.

It takes TRUE fans of the sport internationally to band together and take a yearly sports franchise and make it an infinite times better than the product released to us. Maybe that's the direction sports gaming should go. We should be able to edit everything. It should be completely accessible right out of the box. What would EA think? It's consumers are making the REAL NHL 14.

I know I'm enjoying myself, completely immersed in fixing and tweaking a hockey game that belongs to ME. I paid for it after all. Kudos to the Revamped team, Cycloniac for his awesome sound files, Artem for his NHLView. We may not be the happy pasture that is the MLB The Show community, but we are getting there.

I know I speak for the Revamped team as a whole when i say we love doing it. We have grown a ton this year alone, and have 6 editors now. This means there is almost always work getting done on it.

It goes to show the potential the series has. When I first created the Revamped project a couple years ago, I never would have imagined having NHLview as a tool available, or teaming up with Cycloniac as well. Just looking through the other rosters available for download now, and you can tell how much we as sports gamers want the next level of quality, it is just sad we have to take those steps ourselves.

If only EA would release modding tools of their own/provide features in game that would make these processes easier- roster/settings sharing, etc.
