Does this interest anyone else? NBA2k14 80s-90s

Hey all you fans of NBA2K series. I just have a question for you and this will probably only interest older gamers or gamers who do not heavily follow the NBA. Anyway

I first started playing the NBA2k series back on the dreamcast in 99-00 and loved that version. But as my interest for basketball in general began to fade I stopped buying professional basketball games because I did not find myself caring about the players. Sure there were one or two I liked but for the most part the game had changed. Yes I'm aware I hit that point in my life when I said what my parents said about basketball and football in their day. But then one day I heard about NBA2k12(i think) were Jordan was back and a ton of legends were there. I picked it up when I saw the games used for like $35...which I rarely do. Normally I wait until games hiut about $20 unless I buy them new. So I really enjoyed playing the old game, scenarios and seeing the familiar names from those games. Being that you can only play those in a one game style with no real progression or career that mode does get old so I started playing MyPlayer which I enjoyed the idea but found myself not caring who I played against because the players in the current version mean nothing at all to me. Besides wanting to dominate Lebron and Kobe. But there was no feeling like it was playing as the bulls vs blazers and seeing names I had long sense forgotten and remember thinking..."Oh man I remember that guy...he was good."

So to the question at hand.

Would anyone be interested in NBA2K14 where you could choose the players in your game. So for instance if you wanted all the current players in the NBA you would just buy NBA2k14 and you would have the exact game as it is today. Or you could buy NBA2K14 1990 where it had all the great players/teams as they were through the 90s but NO players from today current game BUT still has the EXACT same gameplay features as the current NBA2K. So I could do MYPLAYER vs Jordan and Magic instead LeBron.

Would you pay the $60 for that alone?
Do you think they'd ever do a DLC like that? If so does it interest you?

This is very random but I've bounced this of you older folks(keep in mind I'm only 37) and they all loved the idea and I'm sure licensing would be balls pain but 2K makes a hell of a basketball game...I thought maybe they could make it perfect...for me that is

Hopefully someone will do a ubr for 2k14 someday. I am a HUGE fan of retro basketball. That 1988 season mod that you posted on youtube is outstanding!

I wouldn't care much about a "decade dlc". A "season dlc" on the other hand i would pay good money for, if it's done right. (cyberfaces, commentary about the players, proper ratings and tendencies, jerseys, courts, the right sig jumper and all that stuff, no generic filler players)

For example, i'd love a 99-00 dlc.
- Association: resign tmac at the end of the season and build the toronto dynasty that should've been.
- Mycareer: as a sg i'd go up against ai, vince, kobe, ray, stack, etc.
- Myteam: jwill, vc, tmac, cwebb and the immortal shawn bradley would be amazing.

Unfortunately i don't see this happening. Licensing would probably be a nightmare and frankly the market for this would be rather small and they'd lose profits.
