Do you use Gameflow or Conventional?

I've never used Gameflow. I'm too in love with the right stick and moving my chess pieces around the board with my packages. I like going Big Nickel on run downs, 4DEs on passing downs, I like splitting my big bodied TE out wide, or switching up my backfield to create matchups.

Don't know if any of that's been upgraded, but when I tried it out when it debuted, you just had to roll with default everything and I just can't roll like that. I played with the Raiders for a few seasons back in Madden 13, and I had a ball moving Marcel Reece around. One week he was a 100 yard rusher, the next he was running zone beaters and keeping drives alive. I just can't give up that kind of control.

Gameflow mostly, but that's just because I'm lazy. I really don't like it that much. It doesn't present itself as a "plan" and you see the same plays over and over and over and over again, even within the same game. The defensive gameflow seems to work better than offensive, but not by a lot.

I wish that gameflow would "mark" a play as used during a game and once it's been run once or twice not pull it again during that game (at least for the offensive plays). It would also be nice if it linked certain plays together for that "setup" feel. I find it annoying that it will pull a random read-option or reverse play but never (or rarely) pull any of the similar plays from the playbook. Even the play-action plays are rarely based off of runs you have called.

What he said.....I like to do things myself and don't feel like dithering around with the custom playbooks/gameplans.

i completely agree with this. i love picking the different plays and formations myself. i dont like the fact that madden uses gameflow as the default setting after using conventional for so long. it feels like its almost no thought involved when it selects plays. it just a way ea can make it more simpler for casual gamers, but ive been using conventional since m 99 when i was like 6 or 7 so i guess thats just the norm for me

I agree. I have always used the conventional and having my formations mixed up based on what the computer thinks makes me feel like I have no control.

Always conventional for me. I tried gameflow once when it first came out and really didnt enjoy it. The idea behind it is kind of cool, but i can't be bothered to use it.
