Attention MyPlayer C/PF: Pump Fake Standing Dunk?

Maybe it's just me... but I have NOT done this or seen this in the game. The perimeter positions have so many advantages over us; speed,quickness, agility, vertical, ball security,contact dunks, etc. Even some that they SHOULDN'T have... such as being able to box us (bigmen) out & push us around in rebound/loose situation like they don't weigh 90 lbs less... One of the many things that should be exclusive to Centers & Power Forwards should be the pump fake/standing dunk combination. Even if this is somehow in the game I haven't figured out how to do this yet, the mechanic of this probably needs to be refined. Especially with the new spam blocking cheese that is prevalent in Blacktop/'Crew' games.

It seems like Standing Dunks on there own are almost impossible, it usually throws you into a dumb layup animation if your not moving a few feet forward holding turbo. When I see a bigman get a Standing Dunk animation to work you have short PG's pushing them and blocking them from behind when they pull up to slam. Since there are nothing but reaching fouls in Blacktop/Crew there's nothing to stop it. PF/Centers should automatically get forced space around everything but their front side when doing a Standing Dunk, or running in from a few feet away to simulate how it really happens in the NBA. Everybody either moves away to avoid the foul, and if someone's trying to stop it or strip the ball they're usually standing under the basket getting slammed on.

Well I'm doing pump fake standing dunks just fine in my last video. Although I understand why they would turn it down, 2K13 team-up league in MLG was a mess because you couldn't do anything about standing dunks, it was one of the biggest cheese moves in the game (eurostep jumper was of course banned). Many "top" teams would do nothing except pass to the paint through two guys and do a standing dunk.

Yes, I see. I just figured out how to get regular standing dunks consistently myself, lol... I mainly wanted to see if someone had done this without it being a layup LOL. I'll get back to you on that schedule stuff we were talking about on PSN... I meant to get back sooner but I've been ill.

The only way I've triggered a standing dunk was by doing a spin move under the basket (the defenders seem to have a 50/50 chance of flopping during a spin move)

Oden was a rare player. He was playing like an Allstar in that game and most of his last 20 before splitting knee cap. Aint too many guys that can do that.
