Weirdest/Coolest Things that you've seen in M25 CFM
Hey guys! I know we've all seen our own fair share of weird/ironic/cool moments in M25 CFM, so feel free to post and comment with your own moments!
I have simulated up to 2024. A lot of weird things happen in 12 years, apparently.
Only 3 different teams have won the Super Bowl in the last 12 years: the Broncos, Packers, and Chargers.
Only 4 different players have won the MVP trophy too, and all four came from the same three teams. Ironically, whoever won the MVP ended up winning the Super Bowl, too.
2013 - DEN QB Peyton Manning (retired afterwards)
2014-2017 - DEN QB Joetavius Jaques (They drafted him after Manning retired. The Broncos decide to let him go free agent in 2017, despite having 20+ mil in cap space. Miami ends up picking him up, but he flopped)
2018-2019 - GB QB Aaron Rodgers (retired afterwards)
2019-2024 - SD QB Garret McCadden (still playing)
Relocations:
In the first season, the Rams left for Los Angeles (kept their name), and the Raiders moved to Chicago to become the Tigers.
In 2017 season, the Buccaneers left to Brooklyn to become the Yanks.
Every other team with a low stadium rating had gotten a new stadium built by 2019.
NFL Records:
Julius Peppers holds the season record for sacks with 28 of them in 2013.
On a similar note, Demarcus Ware had 25 sacks for 4 years in a row.
Aaron Rodgers retired with the career passing yards record. He also has the most passing yards in a season.
Calvin Johnson owns almost every receiving record possible.
Antonio Gates broke the season record for receiving TD's with 26 in 2014, ended up 6th on the all time TD list.
Other:
Ray Lewis came out of retirement 4 times. Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, Drew Brees and Tom Brady all came out of retirement 3 times.
Darren McFadden(!!!) ended up 4th in career rushing yards.
Steven Jackson ended right behind him.
Adrian Peterson retired 2 TD's short of the career rushing TD's and 600 yards short of the rushing yards record.
Ironically, in 2018, the Broncos end up hiring Mike Shanahan as HC and bring back Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall. They had losing seasons for 2 years before finally retiring.
Also ironically, Andy Reid ended up going back to the Eagles in 2015, and Jimmie Johnson came to the Cowboys for a season.
The Raiders/Tigers and the Jaguars have a combined 2 years of winning records between them. Both have been incredibly terrible.
So what has happened to you all??
