nice interview so far, im glad he addressed the cries to get rid of animations. i always felt that was something more of a fantasy dreamed up by the community. animations are a good thing, even some canned ones. you just want them to be interruptible, not too repetitive, and to trigger at the appropriate time.

Both Xbox1 and PS4 will have their own neat features.

Smart Glass for the Xbox1 and he said that PS4 fans will have something very nice as well and don't worry too much about it.

I wonder if it will be 1080p 60fps for the PS4.

Really really nice interview, IMO. Guys sounds like he is passionate about football and getting the game we all want to us ASAP. He was honest about the game not being where they all want it to be yet. And he honestly was truly as transparent as any dev I've heard from EA maybe ever.

He also said that he and the other devs frequent OS and pastapadre to look for feedback and constructive criticism to improve the game and actually work on things WE really want. He keeps a journal of the most talked about topics on the forums.

I haven't heard it yet, but Cam, Rex, and Clint all are extremely passionate about getting the game where we want it. Hopefully they get there faster than people expect them to. It all comes down to execution but their passion is undeniable and refreshing to hear.

If they look on this forum, hopefully they have seen the numerous topics about how dreadful the QB dropbacks, scrambling and throwing animations are.

They need to overhaul that badly!

From what it sounds they want to fix EVERYTHING. It sounded great now we will see what happens. Gotta hold them accountable (respectfully) for what they DO address as we go, not things they didn't get too yet. I hope they pull it off but its definitely not all gonna be done at once.

Just by his demeanor and how enthusiastic and passionate he sounded about wanting to make the "right" game. Im definitely routing for him

we'll see
