Re: Will you buy Live and why?

if it has clubs/crew mode, then yea... otherwise, no. the trailer didn't impress me at all, 2k looks A LOT better, but i'm tired of 2k bs'ing us for years, so i'm ready to jump ship long as they got the mode.

Re: Will you buy Live and why?

Yup, most likely after 2k or at a discounted price if I watch some youtube videos and the gameplay isn't up to snuff. But, eventually I will buy the game and enjoy it. If I see enough of what I like I might even pay full price for it.

EDIT:

Just realized I didn't say why.

I like the control that Live has, I like the way bouncetek looks and is differentiated between different players. The way Deron Williams was crossing in that trailer looks like you can put together something devastating with him. I also like the physicality of the post, I think they'll be using real time physics. I just like having options especially when playing basketball, and EA servers are always on point, and that's something big for me because if this game is getting any playing time out of me it will be online.

I just like the vibe of the game, it looks fun but still sim at the same time. Also the freedom of the dribbling is what I'm looking forward to most.

Re: Will you buy Live and why?

I would think about buying but I still haven't seen any next-gen gameplay...Wasn't impressed by the PS3 trailer they released today...OH WAIT! LOL

lol Yea but no, this game looks on par graphically with NBA 2K13. And to the maker of the pole, how does buying a bad game from a multi million dollar company "support competition?" If anything it lets EA say, "hey we can put out whatever garbage we want and these clowns will still buy it!" That's the problem with the Sim gaming community, we've been supporting terrible games (mostly from EA) for too long.

We need to take a stand with these companies and say hey, if you want our money you're GOING to put out a quality product.

Re: Will you buy Live and why?

The trailer didnt look terrible....but it definitely wasnt great. They do have something okay to build on.

Maybe after a price drop i'll pick it up. Or just wait until 15 comes out.
