Blacktop Position Help?

How are the player positions determined in 2K14 for regular blacktop mode 5 on 5? Last year it was by the player height on each team, but this year it seems to be random.

its by position. Btw last year it def wasn't height. My 7-2 center played point guard sometimes.

You can play 5 on 5 in blacktop mode?

Yes, you're right. But the player icons are messed up during gameplay. Only the SF icon is correct. But the SG/PF and PG/C icons are flipped no matter which order I select them in the menu. I guess I'll have to quit using icon passing.

Wow it looks like some of the posts have been deleted from this thread. I guess there is no answer besides a possible glitch in the game.
