Your Honest Opinion - How different is 2K14 than 2K13

As the title says, I'm just wonderin what you people who have it , how different is it from 2k13 is the gameplay really that much better as the sites say it is?

I don't know about getting next gen just yet so just wondering, thanks!

If your expecting a big leap in graphics, then you will be disappointed. Not much has changed there, excepts tats are now more defined, and most if not everyone has on brand kicks which is a nice addition. But, the biggest leap is in terms of gameplay and floor spacing. It plays the best game of basketball I have experienced ever!! Which says a lot, I have been playing video games for many years. I must say, it's must buy if your not planning to go next gen...

Is the gameplay really that much better ?, in videos it looks the same tbh, and i know there obviously must be a difference from seeing it and actually playing it.

2K13 wasn't bad it had some issues of being exploitable though and not being able to block dunks.

• Playbooks are noticeably better. Plays start faster
• Defense is better, blocks and contact all better
• Floor spacing is better
• Control is fluid and smooth
• CPU AI is better at adjusting to what you are doing but still need some tweaking on running plays could be a coach profile thing
• Passing better makes a big difference
• Dribbling is better
• Looks wise everything looks similar to 13 but the gameplay between user vs. CPU, user vs. user is so much better. You have to use some skills.

The game plays a lot different than 13. No doubt. It is very evident as soon as you pick up the sticks. Everything is a tad bit more responsive and fluid. Theres definitely a better feel to it. As everyone said there are a lot of changes and they are almost all gameplay related. Myteam is different as far as modes go and crews is back, but the beauty lies in the much improved gameplay and cpu AI.

I thought the same thing when I initially saw the videos online but actually playing it is another experience all together. Why don't u just rent the game and see for yourself b4 making a purchase?

That's what I did. I rented the game because I am purchasing next gen...although I am now considering a purchase of current gen...
