In 2K12, I'd miss the layups over half the time when WIDE OPEN.

This is nothing.

I actually thought it was better this year with not missing layups. Last year I was so frustrated with missing barely contested layups, and have been surprised at some of th eone that have went in this year compared to last year. Im on all star sim settings, so maybe a higher setting its worst. I tired Super star for a qtr and couldnt do anything right, lol. Last year I actually played on HOF, but this year all star so far is giving me good games. I have barely beat the foreign teams I have played with the Pacers. The last game was a great game with Paul George hitting a game winning driving bucket which was heavily contested even. Talk about nervous, I got a goal to go thru all the foreign teams and beat them, so I thought 2 games in I was going to lose

I know last year I turned up layups to 55 so there wouldnt be so many missed and I played on HOF sim last year. I will probably end up on SS or HOF eventually but the new controls and getting the feel for the game made me have to put it on all star for a while. I would suggest turning the layup slider up to 55 or 60 and that should help with those missed shots, it did last yr for me, Id still miss some if they were heavily contested but that should happen.
