want to know if there is a workaround and are able to get into the game without choosing a favorite team....i know in past versions of this gae you could by either pressing one of the controler buttons or choosing "no favorite"

There's no option for no favorite? Hmm.

Just choose some random team, I don't really get why it matters.

I'm guessing he wants to see different players in the Play Now menu.

Think on PS3 system you can go to system settings and select who to use in play now setup...

Somewhere in the game is a setting so your favorite team doesn't show up in play now. You can change it to just random teams.
