I don't know if it's my PS3, or if it's the game.

If any of you have the early release, can you confirm which one?

Is it just me, or do the menus in 14 move at a sloth like speed? I feel like I've spent more time pressing buttons....waiting...pressing buttons....waiting, than I have actually playing.

This is really the case with all EA Sports games IMO. They've all had pretty slow/annoying menus basically this whole generation. FIFA 14's don't stand out as any more or less slow than other EA games though. At least they look nicer

Is this really happening in the full game? The menus were just fine on the demo. The slow menus thing happened to me for Madden NFL 25 and it was so annoying.

They were incredibly slow in FIFA 13 as well in my opinion. Why I preferred doing things over Web App for Ultimate Team. Took forever to transition. Thought this new menu format would help but I guess not.

I didn't play the demo (have the Early Access version though), but like I mentioned this has been a part of EA Sports games for years. Smooth is definitely not the word to describe FIFA 14's menus (hopefully the next-gen versions will, but we'll see). It's in line with exactly what you'd expect out of an EA Sports title, in terms of menu speed

Yeah, it's slow and they always are, but for whatever reason they seem slower than normal.

I feel like it takes me 5 minutes to change my lineup because I have to click the buttons 2x's for each player, then when I move down to select the other player I feel like I have to slam the thumb to get it move.

I don't know. It just feels a slower to me than usual. Even going from one menu page to the other feels like the game is being pushed to its limit.

The menus are horribly slow in the season ticket release. Additionally there is major, major frame rate issues when playing skill games. To the point that some of the dribbling ones are not playable.

this was the case on madden for some people. Try to disconnect from xbox live or psn. That should fix some of the performance issues you are experiencing
