Does Offline Franchise mode work with imported rosters?

When I import and load the latest EA roster and start an Offline Franchise, I still have IR guys (eg. Dustin Keller) healthy and very much not on IR.

Am I missing something, or do imported rosters simply not work with Offline Franchises?

FWIW, I'm playing Offline Connected Franchise mode, as Coach, using Joe Philbin from Miami, with both Injury and Pre-Existing Injury set to ON.

I've tried a few different rosters and have yet to figure this out myself. I'm looking to play with the Steelers, however I'd prefer not to start with Pouncey, Bell, Stephens-Howling, Foote, etc all healthy for a bit of a challenge.

I've messed around with the settings and tried a few different things but no luck. I found one roster where guys on IR were like 12 overall or something, but even then there's no way to edit within a season to fix it at the conclusion of Season 1.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I believe theirs an bug with the IR that's why Donny has been saying the rosters would be delayed because their testing them.

yes overall cant seem to get it to begin with new roster from ea sports no matter how I load. Jags still are an overall 78 everytime. no overall rosters change. have tried loading the defalt, edited and the base from cc but nothing
