Leaning Layup cheese returns!

at about 3:45- you see the point guard do a leaning layup. There weren't any in the full game livestream.

Because people need stuff to complain about. The messed up this is that I've seen this animation in one of the other videos for 2k14, and NO ONE Else seems to notice that its triggered maybe TWICE in the half hours worth of different game plays we have.

In fact, if you look at it, there are other major times when in 2k13 that animation would've triggered that it hasn't in those game plays. I still don't understand why people refer to it as cheese though. Someone care to explain the cheese part of it to me?

Is it because it goes in occasionally for a horribly off balance lay up, because I see this animation generate the most misses and blocks of anything in 2k13. Yeah, It happens WAY more often than it should in 2k13 which is because of the contact and the way it's implemented in that game, but god everyone over reacts over the stupidest thing. Hell, look at the people complaining about the Lebron FANTASY mode being super unrealistic. I swear people do nothing but look for stuff to complain about in the game, and I while I get that you guys want and expect the best...I wholeheartedly believe a lot of the expectations I see on this board are asininely high. Yes there is a sweeping generalization being made here, And I apologize to those who are not blowing stuff out of proportion, but it seems like all I see is complaining about a product we have not even played yet.

Not to mention a lot of the people that have played it have assured us that it feels great to play, but we ignore some of the people who I understand are posters that carry a decent amount of weight around here, when one video pops up that shows an animation we've seen twice. 2 times. DOS. In the entire set of gameplay footage we've looked at...knowing that in 2k13 we would've seen it 60 times by now easily.

but hey, what do I know? I'm just a guy who sees change, knows what to expect when A company has less than a year to update the new game, and is willing to give something a shot before throwing it in the incinerator. So let's all put the pitchforks and torches down for a second, and actually give the game a chance before storming the castle that is 2k headquarters.

It seems to only be a big deal because smoove mentioned it. I had never heard anyone talk about beforre last week. I think if a guy forces a shot on good defense then he should take an off balance animation for his forced shot.
