Just lost a ranked match because of this...

Was a tie game with 30 seconds left. My opponent had just used his last timeout and I had the ball at the 5 yard line so I chose to qb kneel to keep the clock running and close out the game.

Little did I know that when coming out in my FG formation when he INTENTIONALLY comitted an encroachment penalty it would STOP THE CLOCK.

So I kick my FG with 13 seconds left on the clock and you can probably guess the rest.

He returned my kickoff to my 40 yard line and with one play was in FG range, tied the game and sent it to OT in which he won the toss and scored a TD on his first drive.

Very frustrating and should be patched.

There seems to be several issues with the clock stopping when it shouldn't. They need to patch the fact that every injury is treated like a team timeout. Not only does it stop the clock but it resets the playclock to :60 and if you choose your next play quickly, the CPU ends up sitting under center for like 20 seconds before they snap the ball.

In 25 years they haven't figured out that clipping and block in the back aren't the same penalty, so did you really think they'd have a handle on how the clock is handled for penalties?
