Online Co-op Franchise

So I understand that co-op franchise play is available locally (i.e. "couch co-op"), but I'm having trouble finding a definitive answer as to whether or not online co-op franchise play is possible.

If a buddy and I both have the game and want to play through a franchise together online and on the same team, can this be done? What specific mode am I looking for?

Sorry, I should have specified that I'm interested in the answer as it pertains to Madden 25.

I don't believe you can on the same team but you can do a league together just the two of you, but controlling different teams.

That's kind of what I figured. It's unfortunate that EA won't add that into the mix...my buddy and I used to play local co-op on previous Madden/NCAA games, but since we don't live that close anymore, it's tough to get together for more than a game here and there. Oh well...thanks!

yeah, what happened to that line of bull that all EA sports games franchise modes were being rewritten to share the same feature set. NHL connected careers can do a co-op franchise over live, but Madden (which also has a OTP mode) does not offer this in their connect careers. so frustrating, as this is my most wanted feature...

I think they said the update was going to be released sometime in October to let gamers co-op in an online franchise.

No I dont but I read it here in a Thread like a month before the game came out.
