Issues with suddenly stopping on the field

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but is it normal for my players to completely come to a stop when they catch the ball and move at 1/4 speed? Like I see a wide open area to sprint to, but I'm still moving sooooooooooo slow. Am I doing something wrong?

I've never seen it after a catch but I have seen it with my qb when he is supposed to hand it off to the rb but for some reason doesn't and just stands there til he get's hit.

I know your gonna say was it a read option and the answer is no becuz i took all option plays out of my playbook. This is on PS3 btw.

i've had issues on deep passes switching to my deep defender, where he just stops and gives up a reception.

User catch is also not as smooth as I'm used too. Maybe it'll improve with time.

My kick returner is having this issue. Basically, he gets his quick acceleration boost and then he just as quickly starts crawling along slowly. '5 yards every 3 seconds' slowly.

If your game speed is set to FAST or VERY FAST you will experience this. If you change the threshold to zero, and move back to the normal game speed it fixes it... Kinda sucks, but that's the only thing that works. It was seriously frustrating to not make first downs or break away for TD's because my receiver is stuck in mud.
