I Will Say It First: This Game is PROGRAMMED to be Played on Default...

I will be the first to just come out and say that this game by EA is programmed to function effectively on default slider settings.

It is well known that tweaking sliders and playing on Heisman difficulty introduces bugs/glitches into the game.

I am beginning an offline dynasty with Minnesota.

I am going to play on All American offense and defense.

The only change I will make is player threshold at 0.

I will post stats of every game I play throughout the season so individuals can take a look at the stats and come to their own conclusions.

*** I am a true to life simulation player. I control only one man on offense and one man on defense. The reason for this is that I want to truly see what my recruits are made of.

I only recruit players who have me in their top 3 and if necessary I may shoot for one or two uninterested 4* or 5* recruits for fun. Other than that I only recruit to fill needs on my roster, i.e. immediate needs and seniors who are leaving.

I do not use "glitch cheesefest sucka can't play and take a loss like a real man plays."

I play situational football. I am a ground and pound old school breed type of guy. I mix in play action and audible when necessary.

Legitimate criticism and suggestions are welcomed. If your only concerned about stroking your ego on this game, you have serious mommy and daddy issues that I cannot help you with.

With that said, GO NOLES!

"This is our time, not their time, it's our time." - Jimbo Fisher (Head Coach - Florida State Seminoles)

These are the results from my first game.

UNLV just did not show up for their first game of the season.

My CB Eric Murray recorded three interceptions in the game. I was not controlling him on either interception play. He was purely being a ball hawk this game.

UNLV's running game was anemic at best.

Minnesota WR Isaac Fruechte is proving to be the go to receiver for this squad.

UNLV put my QB out of the game on a bone crushing hit that caused him to fumble in which UNLV recovered.

I do not expect other games to play out such as this. I will have tougher teams to play on my schedule, and I am looking forward to playing Michigan at the big house come week 6.

One correction - this game was played on 75 threshold speed. All other games will be played on 0 threshold.

Minnesota Sophomore CB Eric Murray received B1G TEN players of the week honors on defense for his 3 INT's against UNLV.

The game is meant to be played however you want to, TGD. Default just doesn't "feel" right to some.

I know you're searching - but default is kind of a give up play from someone who's searching for realism. I invite you to check out our most recent sliders. they are out of the box - but they are getting good feedback on twitch and the thread.

Keep doing what you're doing TGD. I'm going to follow along and see the results. I play the same way as you. Anxious to see what happens in the 2nd half of the season when the schedule gets tough.

Re: I Will Say It First: This Game is PROGRAMMED to be Played on Default...

Our second game of the season was a blowout against NMSU 38-10.

On defense Eric Murray is leading the team with 4 interceptions on the season. I believe he is going to receive All B1G honors if he continues at this pace.

On offense Donnell Kirkwood Jr. has been carrying the rock and amassed 161 yds on 25 carries.

Once again things will get tougher as we move into the middle of our schedule and face more formidable opponents.

*** This game was also played on 75 threshold, only because I forgot to change it. All games from now on will be played on 0 threshold.

Our next opponent is #18 KSU. We play them at TCF Bank Stadium. Hopefully our home field advantage will give us the energy we need to bring home a W.

*** I am noticing that robo QB is not happening in the last two games I have played.

Travaughn Colwell of NMSU was 17/27, that is a 62% completion rating.

Re: I Will Say It First: This Game is PROGRAMMED to be Played on Default...

"B1G time players make B1G time plays..."

Shout out to the fans who came and supported the team, the atmosphere was great in TCF Bank Stadium.

Minnesota benefited early by knocking KSU's starting quarterback Jake Heaps out of the game with a mild concussion in the 1st quarter.

The secondary for Minnesota's is unexplainable this year. Jeremy Baltazar had a pick six that set an NCAA record of 94 yds.

Marcus Jones had an 87 yard punt return for a touchdown.

The passing percentage for both quarterbacks were in the mid 60's.

Not sure if there is a correlation; however, after switching to 0 threshold speed I noticed in the first quarter that the ESPN stat ticker disappeared. I found out how to bring it back. Simply go into instant replay come back to the game screen and it returns.

I also noticed that when I went into replay highlights and returned back to the game it became slow and choppy as most were experiencing before the patch. The gameplay was a litter faster and smoother but still lagging. I went back into instant replay highlights and returned back to the game and it was back to normal. Not sure how to explain this, but I will consult with my fiance who is a computer programmer and see what information she can give me concerning this issue.

Our next game is against San Jose State University.
