Coach Mode Sliders for Dynasty

The purpose of these sliders is to run coach mode games with true coach mode controls and have the teams play to their ratings. I haven't tested these with auto-pass, but if you want you are welcome. As with all slider sets these are a work in progress and you posting your stats would be a huge help.

O Skill: AA (Heisman)
D Skill: AA (Heisman)
User v User: AA
Quarters: 8
Game Speed: Normal
Theshold: 45 (This one needs to definitely be tested) (Heisman 25)

Game Rules

Offsides: 100
False Start: 100
Holding: 55
Facemask: 55
OPI/DPI/KR/PRI: 0
Clipping: 53
Intentional Grounding: 35
RTP: 53
RTK: 75

Custom AI: Same for CPU/USER unless noted.

QBA: 10(CPU Heisman 5)
PBL: 45 (User Heisman 50, CPU Heisman 40)
WRC: 40
RBA: 50
RBL: 25
PC: 30
INT: 50 (Heisman 40)
RD: 70 (Heisman CPU 60)
TK: 45 (Heisman 40)
FGP: 40
FGA: 30
PP: 40
PA: 70
KOP: 50

-I've been working on this set for a season now, and the only issues I'm really having are the lack of consistency from the computer offenses. If they would just call plays better they would be very tough to stop, but it seems the CPU stops itself just as much as you stop it. Your playcalling alone will lead to you winning games you shouldn't but it's more a flaw with the AI than the gameplay.

Re: Coach Mode Sliders for Dynasty

I've been flipping around between coach mode and CPU v CPU trying to decide what I like better. I've used you CPU sliders and thought they came out pretty well, so I'll give these a try soon. I have to agree with you about the play calling, the CPU does get stupid at times and makes it much easier to win. That was my main gripe when doing CPU v CPU games, my team (Ohio state) would barely win some games they should dominate just because of play calling alone. As much as I love my buckeyes I think I may start a new dynasty using a small school just for the challenge, it's just too easy to coach OSU to wins, plus recruiting is too damn easy with a big school like that.

I'm messing around with the defensive skill on heisman right now to try and give the CPU offense a bit of a boost. in general the game plays well with these sliders, but then you get a team who should roll offensively and just plays terribly. I just did NMSU vs Texas coaching NMSU and Texas dominated the game like they should have so that was encouraging.

Re: Coach Mode Sliders for Dynasty

Default AA on slow is working great for me except for penalties...

Also threshold seems to make the difference. 10 is too low because pulling OL are to slow and 30 is too much because the DL runs down the HB. I am at 25 now and thinking that it may be a little high...

I replay plays often and check speed ratings and AWR and make notes,,,

Any help in this area would be welcome...

But on default AA I have realistic stats and fun games...sometimes the QB is less than 50% and other times is 75% completion...

Plenty of sacks...

RB getting 100 yards a game on avg...sometimes 60 and other times 150...

I have an OSU v Michigan game coming up today, I'll post stats with these sliders whenever I get it done.

Re: Coach Mode Sliders for Dynasty

Wow, this wasn't the kind of game I expected!! OSU survived two fourth and goal drives in the final quarter to squeak out a 6-0 win! Miller never got anything going on the read option, and the OSU defense came up big when it had too. Sacks were 4 and 2 in favor of OSU, that looked good. All in all the game played well, OSU looked like they were in control the whole game just couldn't get the ball in the endzone.

Re: Coach Mode Sliders for Dynasty

How long of quarters were you playing and what kind of offense are you running?

Also updated the first post with some possible heisman level adjustments.

8 minute, spread offense...I've been averaging 38 points a game so this was a shocker
