Running a Mixed Set Opinions

I put my fast WR at QB to run the Flexbone at Indiana, to make up for a lack of talent there. I'm thinking of running formation subs like having teh normal QB in for certain formation. Like if I'm out of the guns I'll use the nomral QB. Does this make sense to do or what?

a guy in one of my league runs Wishbone as Kentucky. we are in week 13. He has been struggling all year. The last 3 games he's played a freshman CB at QB and it's done wonders for his offense. Against the CPU it's a little cheap because they do not recognize that you have ZERO throwing threat and will let a Non-QB beat them with his only weapon (his feet). But if a user allows you to win with that style of offense then it's their fault and props to you.

I actually did this using GT in an offline dynasty. Think of it like a "C-back," hell Synjyn Days played QB and A-back last season, it's entirely plausible. You can then put your starter in the #2 spot and sub out for passing situations, it's very legit!

I stopped this dynasty because I decided I was not really used to the Flexbone. Now I use Pro Style teams. I guess I just love to pass.

I hear that, I am still getting the nuances down, but I have been using the if-then playsheet that Paul Johnson uses, and we ran it in high school, so it's a little more familiar. Football is AWESOME!!!

Im about to start playing football next year. I didn't play last year. Apparently we only use two formations, the Pistol and Shotgun. I'm not sure if thats because the coaches don't want too much complication or whatever, but it seems kind of basic to me.

Yea I can tell you for sure that the Shotgun and Pistol make things easier. You get a few more seconds to run the read option, versus immediately getting the snap and having to read the defensive end. We had a ****ty defense, but teams had a very hard time stopping the run, and there were two games we won one year that they didn't call a pass lol..

LOL all I'll say is we'll have some problem no matter what. I think on JV we have 2 or 3 lineman who are less than 190 pounds. We might get pummeled lol.
