Things Not Here Anymore (Madden Edition)

I was thinking recently of all the features implemented in the past and later removed for whatever reason. I've made a list (along with some comments) of what I can remember. I'm sure I'm missing a few, so if you can help me out.

Vision Cone - Flashlight sold separatley that year.

Weapons - If only this feature included a list of NFL players and the off-field weapons they carried.

Rewind - Moral question: Was this ethical to use?

Backtrack -I must have been a bad student; use of this tool increased my interception rate.

Helmets Popping Off - As often as it happened, I really believed chin straps were removed from the game that year.

Fight For The Fumble - Button mashing is no longer appealing after a certain age.

The Radio Guy - The result when you have to cut back on the budget and can't hire an announcing team.

Lead Blocking Control - In my world, you would have been able to do all sorts of illlegal blocks, get penalized for them and end someone's career.

Drills/Mini Games - These never made it to current gen (coffin corner punting anyone). They were beneficial and made practice fun. Apparently the decision to migrate fun by EA was not an option.

Tony Bruno Show - I liked the concept and how it fit into the game.

The Ambulance - If gameplay does not improve as we head into next gen, at least give us this back.

The Extra Point
Specific team Introductions
QB Comparisons before the game
Signature Throwing Motions (might still be there, but dont always trigger)
Expansion Team (Long time ago)

Mouthpieces/Mouthguards - Very obvious in the Marshawn Lynch next-gen teaser images.

Individual team helmets for Pro Bowl games

Tattoos

Ability to change hairstyles for existing and created players

Pro-Tak - Thankfully replaced by RTP/Infinity Engine

Multicolored visors - Blue or yellow for instance. Not very true to the game, but they were included.

Individual player morale/player feedback (e.g. "I'm not sure I like who we named captain")

"NFL Icons"

Arcade Mode, circa Madden 2000 (complete with the "EA Sports: It's In The Game" voice actor as PBP announcer!)

Offseason Mini Camp Drills during Offseason in Franchise Mode (as said above)

Madden Cards

Ring Builder

Marshall Faulk Pre-Game Show (Like Ring Builder, I doubt it's very missed)

I miss hearing any tighter coverage and they would sharing the same jersey. Some really good lines were said in that mode.

I really miss the drills/mini games. Too bad they never brought those back.

Although we have one of these threads every other month or so, I somehow seem to have totally forgotten about this steaming pile of a feature. Easily one of the worst things added to the game in a long time.

My list of most missed things will always be topped by the Mini-camp drills...very enjoyable, and actually useful to giving a young rookie a jump start or adding a year or two to an aging veteran's career.

I do miss Madden cards and some of the fun Easter eggs that used to be in the game too. It was good for breathing life back into the game after it had been in the console for 3 or 4 months straight (back when it was tolerable to play for more than a week).

I definitely miss the mini games in practice mode. It was a lot of to do the individual drills for each position.
