Because MyPlayer is strictly that, My Player.
You control everything an actual player can control in an NBA game.
As a player you can't control who's in the draft and who isn't.
As a player you can't control what plays you get or any other player gets, when timeouts happen, when subs happen.

I wish people would realise this for a change for next years MyCareer and MyPlayer

The least we should be able to do is control realism.

Draft classes just make the game realistic. I doubt people would put in 25 overall draft classes. It's not like we are scouting the players.

What's a draft class? Where you make the rookies for next season?

You can use custom draft class in my career on PC by using RED MC.

While I don't think custom Draft Classes would ever be done in MyCareer, I did advocate for there to be a system similar to Connected Careers mode in Madden, where there are 30 something draft classes programmed into the mode and the game selects one from random.

That way we wouldn't get silly looking players with weird hairstyles and whatnot.
