Player faces still not correct?

EA is so damn lazy when it comes to the faces.
Just watched 30 min long video from NHL 14 and most players still has the wrong faces. Only the major super stars have their correct faces.

Have they worked on this at all this year? Doesnt seem like it.

They probably didn't work on it at all for NHL 14. If all players don't have their faces on NHL 15 on next gen consoles I will be extremely disappointed. I care way more about gameplay than something like this. But come on, it's 2013.

It's pretty clear these rosters are just copied from 12 to 13 to 14...
so if the faces were wrong in 13 chances are they won't change in 14.

Unless people band together and start flooding the twitter feeds and the nhl14 forum with complaints.

1) They are just faces

2) You really can't expect them to do ALL the faces in one year. Or every face in the NHL for that matter. Chances are they have the players themselves come in to the studio to capture their face with their 360 degree camera booth thing.

I'm sure there's a program that you just put a picture on the computer and then it'll work.

I'm pretty sure they do a full body scan. Pictures are only 2D. I know that in the UFC games they were able to get this giant scar that was in a fighters back into the game because of the scan.

I'm sure they do a scan as well, but 2D photo use, or at least some slight attention to skin/hair color and/or ethnicity when creating players who haven't had a scan would be nice. I don't care if every player gets their face in the game (would be nice for next gen) but I would like it if I didn't get three years into a GM only to call up one of my team's highly thought of Scandinavian prospects to find out that they're bald and black at 22 years old. That would be nice.

My only question how does a game like the show get all 25 men on each team pretty much dead on, i mean there are some exceptions here and there but for the most part they look spot on. Its not a huge deal but it is disappointing. When i see ryane clowe score a goal and then it cuts to some weird looking blonde guy celebrating, its kind of annoying, they dont even get the hair color right for the most part. If the show can make emmannuel burriss (if your asking yourself who then ive proved my point) look dead on then i expect a little more from nhl
