User switching defenders Issue(VIDEO INSIDE)

Does anyone else have this happen to them? I'm wondering if this is how the feature is supposed to work or if it's an error. Once again not bashing the game just trying to help it get better. A lot of times I'm not able to switch to the CLOSEST defender just like in the video below.

I think that happened to stop you from picking the ball off with someone that wasn't looking
for me that was a issue with a lot of ea football games in the past years and I'm kinda glad that it's harder to do

Hmm. I don't know. Just seems weird that they would NOT switch me to the defender that is in the best position to make a play on the ball.

After playing this game a lot over the last 4 years, I'm still very frustrated with the way switching works in this game. It does not switch me to the person I'm expecting about 50% of the time. You'd think I'd be used to this by now, but the switching feels so random at times that it's hard to get settled into a rhythm.

In NCAA13, there were occasions when I'd be switched to a player *off of the screen!*
