Toned Down SEC Roster Set

I got the depth charts from the 360/PS3 Roster Template thread. All speed had been matched with real life 40 times. I used a conversion chart that Playmakers came up with. Other ratings tweaked as well. Alabama is no longer a ridiculous 99. Bumped them down to 93. I plan on doing the rest of the top 25 next. I used a Preseason Athlon Mag, Phil Steele, Scout, and ESPN to adjust ratings.

These play good with playmakers varsity sliders. Haven't tried any other slider sets.

I hope to do all the teams before the season begins. Most of my time is spent in the Play Now mode of the game. During the season I play the games of the week. I plan on doing weekly updates for the bigger schools throughout the season and for the non BCS schools maybe once a month. I'm getting some good games out of this set.

Here is how it works. You bump Alabama down to a 93. They should still be the best team in the nation. Therefore you bump the next teams down below them and all you have done was lower the team's overalls. Essentially the 93 becomes the 99. I understand the speed edits if you have that kind of time but the overall thing is just an illusion.

There's only one team in recent history I'd give a 99. And that would be the 95 Nebraska team. Now, the 2011 Alabama team was close to that team but they lost a game. This game plays a lot better with lower ratings. With lower ratings, standout players standout more. Way too many 88+ players.

Just give them a shot.

I would put Miami's early 2000 teams in that 99 mix.

I understand what your saying but that 99 represents what they are compared to the rest of the country not historically. They are the overwhelming front runners to win their 4th out of 5 National Titles ... Bama is pretty deserving of the high ratings.

I just can't fathom going through 120+ teams and rerating speed... If EA just hid every players overall rating people would be at peace.
